Cadman Avenue, Waterview

Nestled within this development are thoughtfully designed living spaces that cater to a variety of lifestyles.

At the heart of this community lies a shared space for connection—a community room on the ground floor of one of the walk-ups.

Ease of access is paramount. The development's primary vehicle entrance will be via the upgraded vehicle crossing on Cadman Avenue. Additionally, a new crossing to the north will exclusively serve the western dwelling in Building H. The former vehicle crossing on Great North Road will transform into a pedestrian-friendly curb and footpath leading to the bus stop, just up the road.

Parking solutions are well-considered, with a total of 38 car parking spaces thoughtfully allocated across the site. An expanded pathway network within Heron Park will seamlessly integrate with existing paths, enhancing connectivity for all residents.

It will be seamlessly integrated with essential utilities, including stormwater, wastewater, and water supply networks. Environmental stewardship is evident through stormwater management, combining temporary storage and reuse tanks.

To harmonise with the landscape, the development requires earthworks and retaining walls, totaling 4,260m³ over an area of 5,838m². Although some trees within the park area will be impacted, these measures are essential for creating a balanced living environment.

Embracing holistic living, the project achieves a harmonious balance: 35% building coverage, 65% impervious surface coverage, and 35% landscape coverage.

As the project takes shape, its structures embody efficiency, health, sustainability, and adaptability. Designed to cater to diverse needs, they will adhere to our client's Full Universal Design and Accessibility requirements, along with Homestar 6 version 4.1 standards.

This exciting journey began in July 2023, with completion slated for early 2025.
