The project consists of 13 proposed units with 5 x 2 bedroom terrace houses; 2 x 3 bedroom houses and 6 x 4 bedroom duplex/houses. The proposed design seeks to create community space for residents within the development, making use of the site's natural landform and existing geological features. While the planning of the homes is largely taken from our clients standard plans for units of this type, the exterior appears pays close attention to colour and material variation across the site, and various house types, in order to create a strong sense of place and individuality to units within this integrated development.
Design Partners worked closely with landscape consultants to maximise usable outdoor space, retention of existing significant trees, and generous planting. The development is given a further ‘sense of place’ through the bespoke design of fencing and boundary treatments to the outer edges of the site.
Design Partners have submitted Resource Consent, and will shortly commence technical documentation for Building Consent.
