Senior Planning Consultant

Antony is a Senior Planner and has more than 16 years of experience of planning in Auckland. Antony has worked for Auckland Council and its predecessors and now offers processing support to their busy teams. This provides Antony with an intimate understanding of Auckland Council policy, urban design, and the best way to navigate a consent application through the consenting process.


Antony has worked on a range of consent applications on behalf of applicants, such as subdivision, commercial visitor accommodation, consents for utility providers, medium to large scale earthworks projects, property covenants, cleanfills and quarries, and special housing areas. While working for a local authority, Antony was involved in large infrastructure works such as the wastewater upgrade project “Project Hobson”.

His years of experience means that Antony is an expert witness, can successfully undertake stakeholder engagement and management, has iwi consultation experience, and has been involved in regional and local policy writing.

Antony is a full member of NZPI and holds a BSc in Resource and Environmental Planning.
